Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Main Purpose of Role: 

Project manager needed to manage a range of projects for Wexer, the leading provider of digital fitness technologies. You’ll be managing the delivery schedule for a range of technical projects, combining input from an offshore technical team and other internal resources to provide overall delivery plan on a range of exciting projects in the health and fitness sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery schedule (Gantt)
  • Lead weekly project status meetings with project sub-teams
  • Monitor project status against schedule
  • Deliver weekly status reports
  • Liaise with external partners / suppliers
  • Manage actions and follow ups
  • Work with development team to map development sprints against project delivery plans
  • Ensure that internal resources are aware of actions and deliverables to ensure project delivery

Experience / qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • App and web development based project experience
  • Experience with distributed teams a bonus
  • Understanding of agile development processes and how to integrate with more typical waterfall project delivery
  • Expert with Microsoft Project or similar for managing project plans
  • Open, flexible and willing to get stuck in where needed
  • A motivator – you need to drive projects forward and ensure everyone delivers on time!
  • Strong verbal, written and organisational skills
