Curious and tech-passionate Technical Operations Specialist
Wexer is looking for a driven and passionate colleague to join our Danish team as Technical Operations Specialist to support our industry-leading fitness technology platform. You’ll join a small, talented, and agile team with a special focus on fitness club solutions.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a natural interest in and affinity for technology of all kinds and have a generalist knowledge of Operating Systems, Network, Audio/Video systems, and much more. Furthermore, you find it easy and rewarding to interact with the team and our clients as most of your time will be spent supporting and solving problems, helping and communicating with people worldwide. Finally, your key trait is a desire to keep learning and growing professionally with the tasks you’re given.
Coming into this entry-level position will require you to evolve your role and grow expertise regarding our systems and services over time. Depending on your current skills, we will help you acquire the necessary knowledge and know-how through training and certifications. In addition, we expect you to grow your independence and ability to manage your areas of responsibility.
Your daily base will be in our office in Vejle, working closely with the Solutions Architect and the Chief Developer of the Wexer Virtual in-club system.
That’s cool and all, but what does a typical day look like?
There is no such thing as a typical day with Wexer; we solve a range of IT-related tasks and issues, both for our clients and colleagues. Most of your time will be spent communicating with our client base while supporting the 2500+ deployed Windows-embedded systems worldwide. You’ll work with many connected systems and services, such as our online admin portals and internally developed remote management tool.
Key Responsibilities
- First-line help-desk support.
- Product support of the Wexer in-club and SAAS systems.
- Audio/Video systems support.
- Issue replication and documentation.
- Internal IT support.
- Plus, much more as your skills increase.
Qualifications & Areas of Experience
- Inherent interest and a generalist mindset in all things IT related.
- Problem-solver mentality.
- Experience with Microsoft products; especially Windows environments.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Danish. We are an international business, and English is our primary language.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Experience with company communication tools is a plus; we use Slack and Zoom.
- Experience with helpdesk tools is a plus; we use Zendesk and JIRA.
